What? What do you mean it's almost December?

Can you believe it? We are staring December right in the face! Geez, where does the time go? This fall has gone by at record speed! I have so much left to do on my 2010 To Do List! Of course, some of it is left over from 2009 and probably some of 2008 if I'm honest.

Thanksgiving went off without a hitch. We had a great time in  the hill country of Texas. We walked in the Turkey Trot--just the 1 mile--then made absolute pigs of ourselves during the Thanksgiving meal at my in-laws. I can honestly say a good time was had by all.

I am a little disappointed since I didn't run the Turkey Trot 5K like I wanted. I am happy that I felt good enough to get out there and do the 1 mile without breaking a sweat. I will not give up on my aspirations to do a 5K sometime. Maybe a spring or summer one will be a better fit for training with my joints. This fall has been rough.

Sunday, November 28th our oldest son turned 16! Crazzzzy! I remember being 16...
Anyway, sometime this week he will take his driver's test and will officially be out and about. So, if you see a red Ford pick up driving like a bat out of hell, please call me! Actually he's a pretty good driver, (but maybe,  that's because I'm with him?)

In getting ready for Christmas, I have discovered I am missing the box of ornaments for my big tree. Thankfully I have all the handmade keepsake ones from kids, family and friends. I cannot figure out for the life of me, where that box is! I have looked everywhere it should be and then everywhere else. It is not to be found! I'm afraid it may be stored at the city dump...I think this because, I have one box of ornaments that I thought I threw out last year. I may have mixed up and kept the wrong box! UHG. So I guess today I will head out to buy more ornaments. Not what I wanted to do today.

I wanted to finish decorating today because my house is cleaned on Wednesdays. (I am a very messy decorator! There is crap all over the floor when I'm done.) I have a party planned for Friday night which means; in order to keep my house clean until then, I'll be threatening everyone within an inch of their lives. Now, I need to go buy ornaments, decorate and have the house put together enough to be cleaned by tomorrow. I just can't have a naked tree for my party Friday!

The party is a girly one. I've decided to take on a new project (ha ha ha ha ha). As, I've explained before--I love new projects, I just have a hard time completing them... But this is different, I hope anyway. Ever heard of Premier Jewelry? It's a company that sells jewelry through home shows--yes, like Tupperware--but it's jewelry! Really fun jewelry! Anyway, I like the product and the company is pretty cool too so I thought why not? It could be fun! Plus, I get a great discount!! A sweet friend introduced me to it and I am enjoying this new aspect of our friendship.

My bones are aching so it's time to get moving. If I sit much longer, I'll want to crawl into bed.

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I hate that you are so young dealing with UC, I hope and pray that you continue to have good results with Remicade. I call it my super juice because of it's awesome effect on my health. Isn't the port awesome! That is one surgery I am happy to have had.
